Hmmm,
I am typing this to share my experience of cabin crew interviews:
Firefly interview:
Date:12nd Nov 2011
Venue: KL Grand Dorsett Hotel
Time:8.30am-12.00pm

I had reached there on 9.00am,
but I got number 402.
I was like
OMG!
There were almost 600 candidates
and
I waited until 7.00pm for my turn, LOL.
Tips: It's better for you to go there earlier, and be patient if you really want the job, haha.
~ First Stage ~
Before we entered the room, they would measure our height, weight and checked for obvious scar. For those who have scars, remember to conceal them. It was a group discussion, 10 of us was in a same group. They asked " if you are on a boat, but you have to sacrifice 2 ppl to survive, who will you choose? Discuss and let us know within x minutes". I was quite nervous. As a result, I didn't do well in the first round, but maybe they understood what i was trying to say , so I got through the second round. 4-5 ppl from my group were selected. But I heard that there were only 2 ppl get selected in other groups. We were then informed to go to the Skypark in the next day.
Tips: Be calmed & confident .. Give them strong points to support what you say.

~ Second Stage ~
It was a 1-1 interview, there were 2 interviewers and 2 candidates. They asked us to introduce ourselves and then they picked a announcement for us to read. After that, they will ask you some questions (refer to your resume). Example: "Why do you want to change your present career?" "If you are selected, what will you contribute to the airline?" They will call you within 3-4 weeks.
Tips: Be hornest & confident, don't forget to greet them when you enter the room, always be the 1st if possible.

Jetstar interview:
Date: December 2011
Venue: Inter excel Penang
~ First stage ~
It's the same process in every interview. The interviewers helped us to measure our height & weight. We are then asked to enter the room for the announcement test. We were asked to introduce ourselves in front of everyone (all interviewers and candidates). They would ask some questions like "Which cartoon character would you like to be? " "describe yourself as a fruit." and etc. Next, it was a group discussion again. They gave different postcards to each group. We got "HONG KONG". We were then asked to introduce the location to the others.
====== BREAK TIME ======
~ Second stage ~
Only 10-15 candidates were selected, 1-1 interview again, LOL. Before they started, they checked for our scars & tattoos. Unfortunately, they found a scar on my hand, but they still let me to try for the 1-1 interview. Really appreciate, even I didn't get the job, haha. The final round was like a conversation between you and the interviewer, they will ask you question due to your resume, they asked me about the "SCAR" things, and i don't know what to answer.. haha~ 2 of my friends got the jobs, and they are training now, Wish them all the best :D
Conclusion:
Both interviewers from FIREFLY & JETSTAR are very friendly. I would like to thank them for giving me the opportunities, I gained a lot of experience via the interviews, I will work hard and achieve my dream in the future, CHEERS :P
